1. What Do I Need?
First, you’ll need a hook and yarn, but for amigurumi you’ll need more than that, like a stitch marker, sewing needle and a stitch marker. If you make a mistake, it’s very easy to take the yarn apart and start back over again. Lastly, it’s not always going to end up perfect, you may also make certain mistakes that can cause you to end up frustrated and cut off the yarn.
2. How Do I Start?
Making a slipknot is easy, I usually wrap the yarn around my index finger and making a “X”, then I tug the upper left part of the X and make it so that the middle of the tail almost enters it. I grab the middle of the tail and pull it slightly but not too much, then I tug both the yarn and the end of the tail and pull so it creates a knot.
3. How Do I Finish My First Project?
There are many ways to finish off crocheting, the most easiest one is fastening off with a needle.
